OC Weekly digs ramen

Filed under: Orange County, Published stories — Professor Salt @ 5:41 pm

The OC Weekly has graciously published my first freelance piece today. Many thanks to Gustavo Arellano for running the piece! In case you were wondering what happened to the rest of my ramen writeups, this idea morphed into the OC Weekly story. Click here to read the story.

Great article! I always enjoy your reviews on Chowhounds.com–it’s nice to see them getting wider circulation!

Thanks, lonegungirl. Like the great folks on chowhound.com, the OC Weekly’s food section has a very inclusive attitude about food. Low end to high end of every possible national origin, it’s all good eats, and they’re willing to publish it.

    Congrats! I loved Tampopo!

I’m taking my little Japanese cousins (I’m 44, they are 14 and 12) to Santouka Ramen today for lunch. Thanks.
