Yuhokay, so I’m not a web designer and it’s dressed funny. I’ll make a better looking template as I graduate from the Garanimals stage of web design. In the meantime, I’m gonna get back to writing and stop futzing with the software.

Hi Prof - Looks good, though the orange entry box, is kinda, well groovy!!! A personal preference of mine is to underline my links; I believe it’s a bit more intuitive. But it seems like everything is fine, I’ll “fiddle around” a bit more when I have time. Can you also let me know (I’m sure you will) when you’re ready, and I’ll revise my links…..

Hey PS - I’m having a hard time reading the blank text on top of the orange background. Also, the red on orange is hard to read too. I feel like I’m staring at one of those pictures hidden in a picture. Sorry…not trying to be too mean. Also, I like the photo above way better. Just a couple comments that the photoshopping on the left side of the picture looks like you added those words in…I know, I know…me being extremely picky but anyhow, my two pennies worth.
Let me know when you all want to do a real meeting of foodies. It’s so ON!

I like your new layout. I use WordPress for my blog and I love it. One of these days I’ll get around to designing my own template from scratch. Good luck with your new software.

Looking good, lookin good! I like the new digs. Looking forward to many more posts. On another topic, too bad you cant recommend a good BBQ joint in the OC homeland.

Kirk, Kristy: Your comments are duly noted and I’ve made the changes you suggested. I started to dislike the orange & reds of the original template, and changed them over to blue. I might get sick of that too.
Mealcentric: There’s a new BBQ place in Costa Mesa that has promise. Haven’t been since they opened, it’s time for another visit. Stay tuned for a followup review.

Any plans to put the full articles in the syndication feeds? I just get about the first 25 words now.

I haven’t done anything with RSS feeds yet. I’ll put links on the meta section when that’s done.
I was also unclear about the Costa Mesa BBQ place: I visited on the second day they were officially open. They still needed to dial in the meat cookery at that time, and they may have done that by now.

Cool design on the new site–I especially like the “cheesy” photo banner…very creative!
