Down but not out
The internet’s like air, or water. Or sex: taken for granted until you don’t have any. Last night, an internet backbone connection went down at my webhost, taking my site down along with countless others for six hours.
Six hours without email or a working website seemed interminable to me. I may need to get outdoors more often.

Yes. I agree. Bless my company for giving my a laptop with cellular broadband. It’s my backup crack fix.

I soooo feel your pain. I can’t begin to tell you how horrendous it was to have a terrible host a couple years ago. There was a time when the 15+ sites I host would go down every other week. I wouldn’t wish that kind of pain on anyone.
Glad yours was only temporary!
